ART. ALCHEMY. ACTIVISM
- Katie Hoffner
This playshop will be a combination of art-making and meditation and gentle movement. Participants will have the chance to experience a personal “presencing" journey surrounded by the cosmology of Lydia Ruyle’s ancient goddess images and sense into what’s constellating in their future. Building on Theory U principles and the teachings of Adrienne Maree Brown, Katie will guide the group through an individual exploration of how to make feminism and activism a fulfilling and pleasurable and embodied act of justice. From this place of curiosity, everyone will have a chance to create a prayer flag or small queen’s cape with one of Lydia’s images as a commitment to action towards their future and personal sovereignty. At the end of our time together, we will have a chance to explore the constellation of the collective commitments put forth to serve our planet and dance our desires out to the cosmos adorned with our personal art creation and queen’s capes. "Sovereignty comes when you inhabit yourself, and it has a special correlate: You are inside your own skin. Your boundaries are intact. You find your ground and dare to stand tall. You take up space. Sovereignty means owning and being loyal to your own experience. You give priority to the needs of your inner life. It means you trust your instinct. You give yourself permission to find what works for you and to discard notions that don’t.” ~ from Meditation Secrets for Women

- Georgie Catling
Welcome home to the deep surrender of the Divine Feminine, a place where we feel supported to let go of our old stories and return to love. The focus of this workshop is on forgiveness and compassion so that we can release and blossom, shining our light where it is most needed. Together we will open our Womb-Heart weaving threads of support, love and beauty. Guided by the Womb of the Star Queen, Her presence is holding us as we dissolve into the fertile Earth, composting our grief and birthing new dream seeds and visions from Her starry realms. Blessings of the Queen of Heaven
- Bliss Magdalena
Connecting with the power and sovereignty of Ishtar / Inanna and discovering the fierceness that comes with owning our sacred authority in service to Goddess. In this workshop we will work with the original Temple Hymns of Enhuduanna, High Priestess of the Temple of Inanna of Ur in ancient Mesopotamia, inviting all Priests and Priestesses to claim our holy right of knowledge, authority and guardianship of the inner temple, and setting intention to expand our influence to the wider world in sacred leadership, co-operation and appreciation of our link to this lineage of ancient Star Queen Priestesses. Enhuduanna is the first known author in written history, composing an anthology of sacred poetry and songs encoded with precise astronomical calculus, political discourse, mythologic exegesis and heartfelt reflections, entwined in immersive invocations to Goddess. There is much to inspire those embodying priestess archetypes in this present time, through Enheduanna’s life and writings.
