Karan studied music at Dartington College of Arts. In her home country Germany, she brings music, sound and healing to patients in palliative care and adults with disabilities. As a singer/songwriter, she performs her own songs with the aim to inspire hope and courage in our troubled times. She holds voice workshops, according to the Zimbabwean proverb: “If you can talk, you can sing.” She also loves research and has found great joy in exploring the history of the Matronae. Following the call of Brigid to serve her as her priestess and bard, she has now expanded her activities back to the British Isles again.
