The Glastonbury Goddess Conference (CIC) is an annual transformative event, welcoming all who wish to explore and celebrate the different aspects of Goddess. Over six days, we offer meaningful experiences of ceremony, connection and community, alongside heart-opening presentations and workshops, all held on the sacred land of Avalon.
MOTHER YEAR: EARTH GODDESS OF CREATION
Introduction to the 2026 Goddess Conference
Five Sisters, five Great Goddesses, weave a magnificent multi coloured mantle. Maiden, Lover, Mother, Queen and Crone, each Goddess equally contributing their threads, which they weave into the fabric of life.
Upon it, their design; of leaf and tree, of apple and pomegranate, flowers and roots, snake and bird, of fish and mammal, of purpose and evolution, takes shape, and glows.
The seeds of immortality, the flowers of passion, the harvest of actions, and the fruits of every underworld journey, are all woven into the weave.
With the greatest of care they create this beauty, taking turns to mend, with invisible tender stitches, the occasional rip or the tiniest tear, never losing the rhythm of the weft and warp. Together they weave a cloth of shimmering essence, its patterns created with the golden threads of karma, that they spin on long, magical spindles.
To spin this thread, they card the fibres of their specific gifts, to make sure only the finest are included. Each thread carries their essence, and when they cut it, these gifts are given; to all who wear the magnificent mantle of life, to all of us.
Since the beginning of human time… the third sister, the Mother Goddess offers the thread of Creativity. Springing from Her own fair hands, and magical in its miraculous nature, it sings with Her presence.
This golden thread of Her inspirational creation, She gives into the actions of our heart and soul, our minds and bodies, into the realness of our lives. As She weaves on the great loom, She inspires. As She weaves Her golden thread becomes the beauty of the seasons and the aliveness of the Earth and all its being. She weaves the deeply resourced fire of creation to manifests through all elements, and through each of us human beings as our fertile creativity.
For this Mother is Earth Goddess of all creativity. She creates within us. We are Her voice, Her hands, Her love-in-Action, we are Her heart-wombs and heart-minds. We are Her body and our body, hearts, minds and all that we choose to create in and from Love, are Her gifts and presence in the world. We are Her opportunity to manifest and create beauty, peace, love, healing, connection and abundance.
She invites us to receive, carry and share Her golden thread that is part of the Great multicoloured Mantle of Life woven by Her and her Weaver Sisters: It is up to us to wear this mantle well, to weave the thread of creativity into action, and to carry its treasures in our hearts.
THE MOTHER YEAR:
Welcome to the Earth Goddess of Creation: She who is the Mother of all Creativity:
We are excited to announce that 2026 Goddess Conference is a Mother year, third in a cycle of five, through which we will weave a golden thread of how the Divine Feminine actively manifests to, and through, us in life.
We can also already reveal that the dates for next year to be 27th July to 3rd of August, with Fringe events before.
The dreaming and planning work has started in a new group of nine ceremonialists, working together, and feeling into different ways in which the Earth Goddess of Creation wants to speak to, and through, us this Mother year.
EARTH GODDESS OF CREATION
We are questing into the Avalonean mysteries held within the Celtic mythology of the Three Realms and the elements through which Her fire, spark or flame ignites all powers of Creation. Feeling the power of Her triple aspect and Her magic of 3×3, as held by the ancient Matronea Goddesses, who are the Great Mothers of all life and all of Nature.
For in 2026 we will be honouring the Mother of Creativity, Earth Goddess of Creation and the many ways in which She offers us the reality of Her Abundance, Restorative Beauty, and Sweet Belonging. She is with us in the elements that make up our world, our visions and our being.
She speaks to us through our connection to Her nature; for we belong to Her, not just as part of Her ‘children’, but as part of Her co-creation. The Earth Goddess of Creation informs our actions from this place of our rightful interconnectivity with all of Her Creation.. From belonging to the reality of Her great family of Life, that reaches cross-generationally through the realms of time and space, to Her presence and how life births forward into the future through us all at every moment.
She is the power that gives of itself, to birth spirit in matter, that opens the ancestral portal and the gateways to the Otherworld, into manifesting this physical reality of being. She reminds us of our endless possibility to begin again anew, to be solution focussed. Inviting us to create new pathways of belonging and restoration, with awareness of how our creativity truly is the sacred gift that belongs to Her.
THE 2026 GODDESS CONFERENCE
Soon we will be able to reveal more of what the Earth Goddess of Creation will bring us in the 2026 Goddess Conference. We already know that we will be in a ‘new’ venue, but because the Goddess Conference is in the process of becoming a CIC (a Community Interest Company), there will be a delay in full information coming available for next year.
For now, perhaps may you feel the threads of Creativity pulling you gently into connection with the weave of Her love and magic that we are dreaming in over the next weeks and months.
TEMPLE DAY INTRODUCTION
We have been hard at work behind the scenes beginning to weave and plan the Goddess conference for 2026. We listen to feedback, and to guidance of our own hearts and of how the Great Mother of Creativity is wanting to be celebrated.
In the forming of the programme, which will (as always) include fabulous international speakers, workshop presenters, performers and artists, as well as transformational ceremonies and delightful celebrations, we are creating a special Open Temple Day, right at the start of our event, so that we can be more inclusively welcoming to Goddess curious people, as well as have time landing in our Temple’s energy together.
Do you dream of amazing creative spaces dedicated to Divine Feminine energy in which to come explore and celebrate Her many forms and loving presence? Then come to our ‘open Temple Day’ at the start of the Glastonbury Goddess Conference 2026!
For too long we have felt the need to have time to really enjoy ‘being’ in the beautiful Temple that is raised each year. Time to make offerings, to meet with friends, to connect to the elements. Time in the fullness of all the delightful offerings of the programme, to sit in the presence of Goddess in Her Temple space, to experience ‘Temple Life’ as imagined and created by Temple priestesses, and to experience a re-aligning to what the ancestral Goddess Cultures must have lived in their Temple communities.
And so, in the year of the Earth Goddess of Creativity, as well as a full 5 day ceremonial Conference programme, we will create Tuesday (28th July) as ‘Open Temple Day’. A day with music, elemental blessings, a training market fair, kirtan, lighting of the Goddess Conference flame and time to BE in the Temple space.
Come and ‘be’ in the temple of the Earth Goddess, come and walk in if you’ve always felt unable to but would love to experience a taste of what the Goddess Conference is, come and be with ‘old’ friends, or meet with new fellow Conference goers.
The Tuesday evening will be a fabulous ticketed event, with amazing ‘Prayer-formances’; an evening of wonderment and participation, to delight you and welcome you home to Avalon. This new structure of the programme means that a full ticket will give you everything this day has to offer, including the ‘Prayerformance evening’.

She invites us to receive, carry and share Her gift. It is up to us to wear the mantle well, to weave the thread into action, and to carry its treasures in our hearts.
THE LOVER YEAR:
The 2025 Goddess Conference is a Lover year, second in a cycle of 5, through which we will weave a golden thread of how the Divine Feminine actively manifests to, and through, us in life.
The dreaming and planning work has started in a new group of ceremonialists, working together, and feeling into, different dualities and their ‘meeting edge’ to connect us into the theme of this Lover year. We are questing into the Avalonian mysteries held within the mythology of the Chalice and the Staff or Blade, to ask what are the gift of this duality, or the opposites of our conditioning and pre-conceived ideas that may guide us into really meeting the Goddess of Sacred Union?
For in 2025 we will be honouring Goddess of Sacred Union and the many ways in which She offers us the reality of Her Love beyond polarity, in which dualities dissolve, or fully meet in a lived experience of non-separation. She is sacred union, but also the gateway into sacred union for us to experience.
GODDESS OF SACRED UNION:
Lover Goddess of Sacred Union informs our relationship to this reality, that is Her presence in our lives. She is with us in the elements that make up our world, our senses and our being, She is the love that binds spirit to matter, that restores to fullness our belonging from the illusions of separation, and that ignites our longing for connection in healthy, grounded love-relationships both with ourselves and with another.
She speaks to us through our connection to Her nature; to how we may feel when we are in harmony within ourselves, and with our surroundings. To how we are within the flow of ease when our rightful actions and thoughts are guided by Her presence as Love. And how in inner- and outer- relationship, the union of masculine and feminine becomes the mirror portal for ‘knowing’ the complete unity of Sacred Feminine and Sacred Masculine that is Her, and that we are an integral part of.

MAIDEN:
The Maiden Goddess offers the thread of Healing.
Springing from Her own fair hands, and magical in its miraculous nature, it sings with Her presence.
This golden thread of Her loving healing, She gives into the actions of our heart and soul, our minds and bodies, into the realness of our lives.
For this Maiden is Goddess of Healing in all its forms.
She invites us to receive, carry and share Her gift.
Oh, She is known by many faces and has been called by a million different names: She who heals the wounds of the body, heart and soul. She offers the many magical medicines and healing modalities so needed in our times.
She is Brighde, Brigid, Bríg, wearing the Green Cloak of Peace,
Her love a blazing white hot flame.
As Kwan Yin, She pours Her sweet balm of compassion,
She is Hestia with Her gift of medicine,
Gula of midwifery,
Aja of plant journey
and magical Morgan La Fey of Avalon.
She is Airmid: Lady of the healing herbs,
Wise Coventina of deep wells,
Nematona of rightful actions,
Sulis of hot healing springs,
and Isolde with healing hands.
Hers is the soothing kiss-, the sharpest medical blade-, the sweet milk of sleep-, all magical chants-, and every bitter herb- of healing.
She guides the seekers and embraces the lost.
She eases all pain.
Soul-guardian of Death, She cares for the living and midwives every birth.
The Goddess of Healing is always renewing and rejuvenating.
She may shape shift in our minds, yet She is a constant; the source as the still point of the flame, the unblinking eye, the consistent forge fire of soul’s mettle.
She informs our reality, and She asks to be made manifest in our behaviour and actions.
To this purpose, She invites us to find the treasure of Her healing medicine bundle: tiny flowers, glinting stones, pungent bark and soft green leaf, overlooked mushroom, secret berries, silver seeds and shining nuts. For our healing gifts and healing journeys are intimately linked to the Natural world.
As Maiden Goddess, She therefore calls us into the wild places of ourselves and into the beauty of Her wild lands, to mind the medicine for our soul.
It is Her joy and freedom that beckons us to where the heron guards, to where the owl hunts and to where the beaver builds. We seek to find Her wisdom where the otter plays, where the songbird sings, or where the hare dances, and if we follow Her guidance and loose our inhibitions, we will come to where the deer ruts, where the salmon leaps, or to where the badger roots, and find Her magic there.
In 2024 we are entering a new cycle of five years, working with the archetypical manifestations of Goddess as the Weaving Sisters in our lives. In this cycle we will be focussing on a specific aspect of Goddess, inspired by these archetypes, starting with The Goddess of Healing in the Maiden year.
There are as many ways of healing as there are ways of wounding, both physical, emotional and mental. You could even say that the journey of life that we all go through as human beings, is a healing journey. Every moment of healing offering an invitation to grow.
Maybe this is why the healing aspect of Goddess has been so important through the ages for people of all cultures. Each culture has at least one specific designated Goddess of Healing, though often there are more than one, sometimes related to specific ways of healing, or a specific healing place (like a well or another sacred site) or a specific element of healing.
In the 29th Glastonbury Goddess Conference, we are envisioning that we will journey together for a week on an elemental journey with the Goddess of Healing, which is both very personal and universal, primordial and contemporary.
We invite you to join us in our exploration and celebration of the Maiden as Goddess of Healing, and through this, bring more of Her healing out into the World.
